Fireblocks is an established custodial software provider that uses a multi-layer security framework to secure assets and manage transaction flows for digital assets. Fireblocks utilizes as a security feature, among other features, a Policy Engine which enables institutions, like Thaw, to set up specific approval policies for each transaction. Coolwater uses the Policy Engine to allow only whitelisted addresses receive funds from the Deposit and Trading vaults where Depositors funds are stored.
